Job Description

- No Overdue Temporary MOCs
- All MOCs meet or exceed the audit standard for MOCs
- Overall reduced risk profile for assets
- Effective problem definition and risk management
- Execute MOC work process to manage change
- Ensuring Responsibility & Accountability for Coordination & Monitoring of Keyera’s Management of Change Standard as per the Operational Excellence Management System
- Maintaining functionality of the MOC database using Maximo 7.6
- Lead the integration of the MOC process into Maximo
- Train and support stakeholders
- Ensuring MOCs are completed for all tasks that require MOCs
- Identification of the individuals who are responsible for approving, implementing, and verifying the completeness of the change
- Carry out initial reviews to determine whether the potential change is necessary and whether it meets change definitions specified within the standard
- Documenting decisions to further evaluate the potential change
- Carry out initial risk assessment on all changes and assign preliminary risk ranking in accordance with Keyera’s Risk Matrix and capture in the change register
- Assigns owners to the change appropriate to the initial risk ranking of the change being evaluated
- Documentation of all requests for change in a formal change register
- Ensuring all MOC's meet Keyera's Health, Safety & Environment Values
- Facilitate weekly MOC prioritization meeting with key stakeholders
- Collect and report KPIs for the MOC process
- Ensuring implementation plans to execute the change are documented and retained for audit purposes
- Record and communicate approved changes to all affected stakeholders, including third parties, contractors, temporary workers and other entities
- Communicating with Maintenance Team to ensure MOC implementation is included in the Master Schedule
- Make visible and communicate to all MOC priorities by area and asset
- Responsible for best practice sharing and regular interface with other MOC coordinators across Keyera
- Champion continuous improvement of our MOC program
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- University degree in engineering from an accredited university
- Registered as a professional engineer in Alberta, or eligible to apply for registration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to provide timely and relevant feedback
- Ability to accept supervision and direction and work cooperatively with co-workers
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong analytical, reporting, conflict resolution, problem solving and facilitation skills
- Builds strong collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with internal Keyera staff and third parties
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and productive work environment between yourself, your communication channels, and all other members of the team.
- Support, promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business operations and relationships

As a valuable member of the Keyera Liquids Infrastructure team, the Management of Change Coordinator is responsible for the coordination between operations, maintenance and third-party contractors that tracks, facilitates, routing all MOCs for the Pipeline and Terminal business through to completion. This position reports to the Operations Engineering Manager LI Terminals and Pipelines.
