Job Description
- Req#: R62565
- Conduct the independent review and validation of models used in the organization, focused on assessing risk and validating specific categories of models across the Bank, including capital stress testing, risk measurement, pricing and profitability, and management decision-making, etc., and ensure compliance with SR 11-07.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Engineering, Econometrics, or Science-based discipline,
Plus 0-1 year experience in model development or validation.
Experience with Python and/or SAS and/or SQL statistical software packages or tools is required.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Master’s or PH.D. Degree with 1+ year of model development or validation in banking or financial services is preferred.

The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
