Job Description
- Req#: 209664
- Apply periodic mold coatings per quality requirements
- Prep current molds to meet production gel schedule
- Follow proper mold repair procedures and follow up with part Pullers
- Work with part Pullers in improving part release ( blow holes, drafting, coating ) and finish
- Inspect new molds and provide feedback to Tooling Shop and Group Leader
- Monitor new molds in Tooling Shop and provide updates to group leader
- Prep (mold record sheet) new molds
- Train new employees as requested
- Consistently look for improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and mold longevity
- Extensive fiberglass repair knowledge a plus
- Must be proactive and able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to set priorities in meeting changing schedule demands, keeping customer needs and quality in mind
- Must be able to work overtime on short notice
- Must have good communication and listening skills
- Must have strong quality values
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Pass a background check, drug test and physical
- Ability to work overtime as requested
- Promote a safe and clean work environment
- Willingness to work on a team or individually
- Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
- Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
- Must follow company safety guidelines
- Must be fluent in the English language
