Job Description

- Perform and assist other skilled workers involved in the production of concrete poles including fabrication, demolding, finishing and assembly by a variety of functions such as assembling and placing component parts, sorting, and counting, cleaning, sweeping, storing of tools and other tasks as needed
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, production manuals and work instructions
- Participate in inventories of materials and supplies
- Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Follow all safety practices, procedures and protocols
- Become involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other mobile equipment as required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Basic understanding of a manufacturing work environment
- Ability to work daily overtime and weekends if needed
- Ability to work in different weather conditions (hot/cold)
- The ability to maintain good attendance
- The ability to be a strong team member
