      Job Description:

      Job Purpose:

      To set and/or hang molds in the injection molding machines in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Hang tool and/or mold in level position and set parameters in a timely manner during mold set-ups.
      • Insert mold set-ups.
      • Set up driers and thermolators.
      • Keep mold storage, secondary equipment storage and mold crib clean and organized.
      • Read and understand BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure correct inserts for molds are input for scheduled production run.
      • Perform all other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:

      REQUIRED:

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Minimum 1 year molding experience
      • Mechanical aptitude
      • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
      • Knowledge of mold hanging/setting process
      • Forklift License (TTI will train)

      Working conditions:

      Position is located at our Cookeville, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts.

      Physical requirements:

      Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly Frequent use of drill drivers is required in Assembly process. A drug screen is required prior to employment. A physical may also be required as employment terms.
