Job Description
- Req#: 16364
- Support PathGroup's mission, vision, goals and management decisions.
- Assist with Quality Management which includes, but is not limited to: reviewing trending and reporting data and recommending solutions to problems.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of effective departmental Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement programs and monitors.
- Review reports from laboratory equipment to ensure everything is operating in an efficient manner.
- Maintain calibration programs for testing equipment that affect quality results.
- Ensure effective employee relations by sustaining an ethical, non-discriminatory and safe work environment and establishing effective communication lines and methods.
- Become be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies
- Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.

JOB SUMMARY :
The Molecular Diagnostics Quality Coordinator will assist in the maintenance the Molecular Diagnostic's department QC, QM, QI and QA programs to ensure the department follows safety and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & LICENSURE:
Bachelors Degree
National certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as applicable, or as a Medical Technologist (MT).
Must hold a valid Tennessee Laboratory License.
Maintains appropriate continuing education for certification/licensure, and to increase basic knowledge.
EXPERIENCE:
Over six years of experience as a Medical Technologist required.
Experience and/or training in Quality Management.
