- Perform high complexity tests by various analyzers in the Laboratory, and/or by manual methods, on various specimen sources, under close supervision
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
- Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
- Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care

Are you an experienced Medical Lab Professional ? If so, Doctor’s Data, Inc. wants to speak with you about an exciting opportunity to join our team. This position is in our Molecular department focusing primarily on infectious disease molecular diagnostic testing which includes analyzing the stool microbiome. You will perform both automated and manual testing with the overall goal of providing results that will be used for diagnosis and management of health conditions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Requirements:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science, molecular biology or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience in molecular or microbiology
• ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus
• High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and/or other shifts; business needs dependent
