      Responsibilities

      The Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring and interpreting the rhythm patterns of patients' hearts as well as reporting any irregularities or variations to the appropriate nursing and medical staff.


      Qualifications

      Job Requirements :

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Successful completion of a Monitor Technician course at any hospital facility.
      • Excellent communication skills and competent working with a team that includes nurses, cardiologists, and various other medical staff
      • Strong written, verbal, and technical skills.

      Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
