- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry patients.
- Recognize and report abnormal rhythms, arrhythmias, and changes in patient status.
- Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with nursing and medical teams regarding patient findings.
- Assist in setting up and discontinuing telemetry monitoring as needed.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a recognized EKG or Telemetry certification program.
- Previous experience in telemetry monitoring or patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
