      Responsibilities

      Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area. The Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first of its kind to offer both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location.

      Job Description: Responsible for the monitoring and recognition of continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.


      Qualifications

      Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a basic cardiac
      arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education
      Department.

      Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.


      License/Certification: Current BLS Certification. Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course.


      Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service
      appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
