The Mortgage Closing Coordinator plays a critical role in the final stages of the home loan process by managing the final steps of the process to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant loan closings.

This position coordinates with various parties including borrowers, lenders, title companies, and real estate agents to schedule closings, and monitors and tracks the delivery of executed closing documents, ensuring all closing documentation is properly scanned and stored in the appropriate systems. • Serving as the main point of contact for borrowers and third parties on the closing process.
      • Coordinating with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, real estate agents, and loan officers to set a date, time, and location for the closing, ensuring all necessary documents and approvals are in place prior to scheduling.
      • Proactively addressing any last-minute issues or delays that could impact the closing timeline.
      • Carefully verifying signatures, dates, and compliance with legal and lender requirements, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
      • Conducting system audits to confirm timely and precise loan set up.
      • Communicating effectively with all levels of staff, including management, peers, and cross-functional departments, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
      • Monitoring and maintaining the closing calendar, tracking the delivery of executed closing documents and maintaining organized and compliant records.
