What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, conduct, and document inquiries into allegations of mortgage fraud
- Assess fraud allegations related to loan origination, processing, underwriting, and servicing
- Resolve conflicts between allegations and facts, analyze investigative progress, and reassess priorities
- Conduct research, prepare investigative reports, and analyze statistical data
- Present findings to all levels of management, including executive leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in commercial multifamily fraud investigations or underwriting
- Knowledge of financial fraud and other financial investigations
- Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate effectively
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience conducting interviews and analyzing evidence to support fraud findings
