      Job Summary

      Under limited supervision Quality Control Administrator performs the timely review of loan documents to ensure quality control. The person in this role prepares files for monthly and investors, review and communicates with staff to clear exceptions. Based on these reviews, this role analyses trends and makes recommendations.

      Essential Functions

      • Implement pre-funding Quality Control requirements as directed by Fannie Mae, and various investors including:
        • Re-underwriting at least 10% of the loan file prior to closing to reconfirm AUS findings on a monthly basis,
        • verifying that asset and liability consideration were documented properly, and
        • conducting data comparison of documents and Encompass.
      • Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) Administrator to ensure timely review of Quality Control findings, including coordinating with staff to ensure any findings are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner.
      • Prepare post-closing documents and oversee quality control functions performed by third party vendors, including:
        • Uploading loan data through secure vendor websites,
        • Managing vendor requests,
        • Assigning and following up on exceptions with staff,
        • Clearing findings and tracking final report release, and
      • Review denied/cancelled loan applications to ensure ECOA and HMDA compliance
      • Work with Quality Control Administrator to conduct monthly review of declined loans, report findings and trends to management, and make recommendations as needed.

      • Complete required regulatory training as assigned
      • Maintain strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations and internal controls specific to the role, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulations

      Experience

      Minimum Requirements

      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • Experience with mortgage quality control or mortgage processing
      • Knowledge of mortgage origination through closing
      • Familiarity with Agency and HUD guidelines
      • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Encompass LOS
      • Minimum Five (5) years of manual and AUS underwriting experience.
