Job Description
- Req#: REF2713M
- Works to a routine on pre structured and fixed format productions
- Provide leadership and supervision during the production process to the Co-Pilot and Floor Technician
- Coordinate the Control room duties with the Co Pilot and Line producer to ensure the broadcast goes smoothly
- Review ENPS rundown and provide feedback to Newsroom
- Manage Mosart Graphical User Interface (GUI), Audio levels and any production / technical problems whilst On Air
- Take items “to Air” as required from Mosart GUI including ad hoc requirements
- Communicate with NPC, Studio Hosts and Reporters in the field in such a way to allow them to perform their roles correctly
- Coordinate and perform Studio Checks prior to broadcast
- Manage and Create templates in ENPS and Mosart if and when required
- Broad knowledge and solid experience working in television production particularly Studio Operations
- Experience in relevant On Air role
- Strong leadership and supervision skills to provide guidance to a team
- A high general level of computer skills, exposure to Mosart would be highly desirable
- Experience with ENPS
- Ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment with calm and collected manner.

Job Description
Your new opportunity at Nine.
We have an exciting opportunity in Melbourne for a Mosart Pilot to join the Broadcast Operations team. At the heart of the business, the Broadcast Operations team crew News, Local and Network productions.
You will be responsible for the efficient delivery of studio control room functions across GTV’s fixed format Productions, it requires attention to detail, accuracy, knowledge and a thorough understanding of production and operational principles of a Television Station: In particular control room protocols and associated requirements across all aspects of television production, including, News, Variety, Production and Outside Broadcasting. You will interact with many parts of the business and will be required to openly communicate and collaborate with other cross functional areas.
You will ensure the successful broadcast of the nightly news bulletin with Mosart automation. You will work closely with the Newsroom to build the bulletin in ENPS and coordinate all elements of the broadcast.
