  2nd Swing is seeking an experienced and versatile video editor and motion graphics designer to join our marketing team. If you have strong editing, animation skills and are well-versed in post-production tools and digital publishing and want to play a pivotal role in creating and managing the production of 2nd Swing’s video content, we want to hear from you.

  The ideal candidate is creative and able to produce, design and transform visual concepts into high-quality assets that educate, engage, inspire, and accurately depict and promote the brand. The candidate is highly collaborative, organized, efficient and has a proven track record in editing at a high level. Working with the rest of our marketing department and reporting into our creative group, this position will play an integral role in our content strategy moving forward.

  Key Functions, Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Proven ability to conceptualize, produce, and edit video content from the raw footage stage to completion.
  • Maintain a large video library with organization.
  • Conceptualize and produce a wide range of creative assets, including videos and motion graphics, to be used across various platforms and channels.
  • Ability to provide deliverables in multiple formats including vertical and horizontal.
  • Has a strong attention to detail.

  Can manage multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines when required.

  Job Requirements

  Excellent communication, professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in the role of Editor and Motion Graphics Designer. Knowledge of the game of golf and golf equipment is highly desired. Intermediate to advanced experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects and Premiere Pro) is required. Experience with Cinema4d is a plus, but not required.

  Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent business experience
  • Must have strong understanding of the full Adobe Creative Suite (specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro)
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines
  • Strong ability to understand business needs, technology capabilities, and to collaborate in a team environment
  • Exhibits an enhanced sense of creativity in terms of visual presentation.
  • Can take direction; as well as work well independently or in a team environment.
  • Golf knowledge preferred
  • Ability to occasionally travel for specific projects
  • Ability to shoot video content is preferred, but not a requirement
