- Operating a Motor Grader within the company guidelines and safety standards
- Completing daily pre and post inspection of working areas and ensures they are equipped with adequate roadwaysu00A0
- Performing pre-shift safety inspection on equipment and reports needed repairs to the supervisoru00A0
- Ensuring safe operations around roadways and stockpile areas u00A0
- Performing daily preventative maintenance - tire pressure, oil, grease, diesel fuel, hoses for leaks and all moving parts for proper functionu00A0
- Maintaining safe traffic flow throughout the site
- Aiding in the training of co-workers as neededu00A0
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisoru00A0
- Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
- Have experience in operating a motor grader
- Have experience in operation and maintenance of off-road vehicles and heavy equipment (preferred)
