      The Position

      Together with the rest of the team you will support the global production of injection moulded components for our different pen systems. You will get the ownership of several moulds in our global plastic component production network (China, Brazil, Macedonia, Ireland, Sweden, Germany and Czech). Hence this position requires a high level of collaboration across the organization and with external suppliers. As such it is crucial to maintain good relationships with people inside and outside our organization.

      As Moulding Tool Engineer, some of your main focus include to:

      • Act as an anchor point for your own tools and collaborate closely with shopfloor production technicians, manufacturing development, mould makers and component suppliers
      • Work on continuously improving our processes and mould performance to ensure that we can manufacture quality components in an effective way
      • Ensure that sufficient spares are in place
      • Be involved in deviation handling (including root-cause investigation), provide solutions to the issues and implement preventive measures, drive different types of technical projects, ordering and involvement during construction and validation of new moulding tools
      • Share best practice with your colleagues and together improve our standards of working (i.e. working in a LEAN way).

      We can offer you an international workplace with great colleagues with whom you can spar and develop your ideas and knowledge. Up to 20 - 30 travel days a year can be expected.

      Qualifications

      To be considered for this position, we expect you to:

      • Hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical background. Recently graduated with the curiosity to learn and obtain new skills will also be considered for this position.
      • Or you could also have a background as toolmaker.
      • Ideally you have hands-on experience from an engineering position within production of plastic components in a GMP environment where you have gained an in-depth knowledge of injection moulding.

      As a person, you are self-driven, proactive with a high degree of responsibility. You have a high-quality mindset and good analytical skills. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and can manage several tasks simultaneously. You are curious by nature and dare to challenge status quo.

      About the department

      Device Manufacturing & Sourcing is located in new buildings in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød. The department Global Moulding Engineering consists of 60 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for installing new capacity and provide technical support to our current fleet of moulding and decoration equipment located at contract manufacturers around the world. We want to do this in a sustainable and effective way without compromising on quality. You will be part of the team Global Moulding Operation Flexpen, Small Important Products & Durables.
