      Position Details

      The MRE Coordinator II will be responsible for evaluating utility poles and utility pole attachments to create accurate engineering packages for permitting and construction. Along with coordinating for inspecting, documenting and quality assurance of projects. Successful candidate must have experience in the telecommunications industry and have knowledge of Make Ready Engineering and Pole Load Analysis. The MRE Coordinator II will be completing applications and reviewing documentations for accuracy before submittal. This position reports to MRE/Licensing Manager.

      Responsibilities:

      • Research and document any new processes and procedures for the project
      • Process and review Pole Data Collection to determine most accurate make ready solution
      • Propose anchors, fiber/copper and other attachments while complying with national and local regulations
      • Create tracking system for assigned projects
      • Must have thorough knowledge of Aerial Make Ready Engineering and Telecom industry
      • Engineer in the public right of way and on private property avoiding conflict with existing facilities
      • Provide solutions for poles that fail pole loading or are not feasible candidates for new attachments
      • Perform QA/QC for projects
      • Report any escalations throughout the project
      • Create and distribute weekly status reports for projects with both internal teams and outside vendors
      • Work with utilities to determine requirements and communicate updates to internal stakeholders

      Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or GED equivalent
      • 4 years of relevant job experience
      • Strong technical skills in MS Office
      • Experience with the following systems: O-CALC, Katapult, IKE, Fulcrum, Google Earth, etc.
      • Understanding Outside Plant Engineering and Aerial Make Ready
      • Field experienced preferable, but not required
      • Experience with AutoCAD, a plus
      • Ability to read work prints and construction drawings
      • Knowledge of licensing processes and joint use pole attachment requirements
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong attention to detail

      Tilson leads with integrity around pay transparency; as part of the compensation plan for this position you can expect a pay range of:

      $18.00 - $30.00
