  Radiology Associates of Ocala is looking for a full-time MRI Technologist for a dynamic outpatient Imaging Center.

  As an MRI Technologist you must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center; have a thorough understanding of all aspects of MR imaging, radiation safety and related patient care; must be available to work day shifts, Tuesday - Saturday, 8 hour shift or 10-hour shifts throughout the week to include every Saturday.

  Additionally, you will:

  • Greet patient and provide instructions on procedure
  • Obtain pertinent medical history for exam
  • Position and immobilize patient on examining table using supportive devices to obtain precise patient position.
  • Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into computer.
  • Maintain exam rooms and maintain adequate supplies.

  What you will need to be successful:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various backgrounds including the elderly population
  • Extensive knowledge of MR imaging procedures and protocols
  • Ability to learn and grow with new technology
  • Customer service skills
  • ARRT registered technologist
  • MRI advanced certification
  • CPR certification
  • Florida State Licensure
  • Minimum 1-year related experience

  Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Prior MRI experience on Hitachi and/or GE scanners
  • General computer and PACS Knowledge
