The R&D office in Jönköping is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with focus on practical mechanical and hydraulic testing.
The office in Jönköping is focused on developing electronically controlled valves and semi active shock absorbers for the automotive industry under the brand Monroe® Intelligent Suspension. This technology greatly contributes to the driving experience by defining the car's characteristic and provides the driver the option to adjust between sport and comfort modes. The growing electric and hybrid vehicle industry has a great interest in the technology and the Jönköping office is a valuable and prioritized area for the company's long-term strategy.
You will be based on site but will have the possibility to work part-time remotely, the position is located in Jönköping.
The team
The R&D office in Jönköping has around 20 employees who are designing, simulating, prototyping, and validating our products. Being a small office with tight bonds between different functions gives us possibilities to try out new ideas quickly.
The team is flexible, and you are expected to contribute in areas outside your role, such as Design, CAD, etc. when necessary, based on your competence.
