      We are growing our Engineering department in St. Truiden and have an open position for a Testing Engineer. We will provide a dynamic work environment, the chance to grow within the company and to further develop your competences in advanced suspension technologies.

      The Testing engineer will be responsible for the evaluation of damping systems and components for suspension systems, by using existing methods or developing/ defining new ones. He will be also responsible to drive continuous improvement in the European testing processes.

      What will you do?

      • Drive execution of test requests in close cooperation with the requester. Requests can be multiple and can run in parallel.

      • Follow internal processes and procedures.

      • Lead independently standard validations respecting the timing and DVP as agreed with the requester.

      • Drive new developments, including new test methodologies and testing quality/efficiency improvements, in a cross functional team (instrumentation, internal customer, product engineering,…).

      • Coordinate as appropriate work of team members (technicians, mechanics, and/or other cross functional teams) by using appropriate management/planning systems.

      • Report results on a regular base and take the necessary actions towards the customer when roadblocks occur in his tasks.

      • Processe and interpret test results, writes and/or evaluate the test and development reports.

      • Question the daily testing processes related activities and implement leaning out proposals

      What will make you successful?

      • Master in (electro-)mechanical engineering.

      • Fluent in English and Dutch.

      • Strong background in mechanical design and/or hydraulics, experience with electromechanical systems is an asset.

      • A thorough understanding of the function of suspension components/systems is an asset.

      • Knowledge of the operation of testing machines is an asset.

      • Good knowledge on hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics.

      • Ability to travel.
