Position Description:
Our Edmonton office is seeking a MuleSoft Integration Architect to help our clients solve their business problems via a portfolio of application development and enhancement projects. As an Integration Developer, you will be responsible for the successful integration of the Client’s application and infrastructure platform.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Work on high-functioning teams as the solution architect, providing architectural guidance and leadership to teams and individuals.
• Participate in requirement design and architectural deliverables, as well as solving difficult problems with the team.
• Give recommendations and creative alternatives to the business, and work as a specialist to advise key partners on software development for a wide variety of business applications and projects
• Build detailed architectures in line with the strategic and tactical objectives while respecting standard architectures and norms, draft and detail the structure, connections, and links with business processes, work groups, data, applications, users interfaces, applications interfaces, infrastructures, and network topology
• Be part of a dynamic organization that seeks to investigate new technologies, offering expertise, creativity, and a top-tier professional's point of view to the team, translate architectural decisions into general concepts, and review and create artifacts to ensure harmony with the global architecture
• Staying current with technology trends, industry innovations, emerging best practices, being an advocate and champion for cutting edge technology
• Attend conferences and participate in the local development community to bring modern and relevant solutions to our clients, be innovative and forward-thinking when developing solutions
• Turn business requirements and design into integrations and APIs, conduct testing, and perform deployments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
• Architect, design and Build APIs and integrations using Mulesoft Anypoint.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 8 years of experience IT and solution architecture, working with strategic or commercial applications and solutions.
• Very good understanding of solution architecture concepts and methods.
• Experience modeling sophisticated business processes and translating them into understandable IT architectures and designs.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the development of solution architectures for the replacement of and/or integrating new solutions with legacy applications.
• Proven experience in architecture planning, management, associated methods, and processes.
• Demonstrated experience conducting and documenting assessments related to security and risk.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to identify issues and requirements, prioritize work and understand downstream impacts.
• Experience with system integration development using MuleSoft, AnyPoint Platform/ Studio, Anypoint MQ, DataWeave, and Munit.
• Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies such as Active Directory Server or LDAP, and Single Sign On (SSO).
• Experience and technical knowledge of SQL and JSON.
• Creation of build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps.
The following are considered assets:
• Experience working with public sector clients
• Degree in IT, computer science, software development, or another related field
• IT and architecture certifications (e.g. Architecture Certification, TOGAF)
• Completion of a MuleSoft integration architect certification.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Restful APIs, Jersey, Maven, Eclipse, Spring, RAML or Swagger, and/or Open API Spec, other Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and/or Integration Platforms and Frameworks, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Micro-services Architectures, Hibernate, Jenkins, Poet, Chef.Skills:
