The Portfolio consists of the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart | Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer | ibis Styles Hobart | Novotel Devonport | Novotel Perth Murray Street.

      Based at the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, this multi-hotel role forms part of our Reservations team, supporting multiple hotels across Tasmania, Melbourne and Western Australia.

      Job Description

      • Building effective business relationships with key clients and travel agents through the delivery of outstanding customer service, whether over the phone, email or face-to-face
      • Use the hotel systems to process and input group reservations in an accurate and efficient manner
      • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates
      • Produce and distribute rooming lists and confirmations as required and maintain regular communication with clients
      • Undertake all group reservation tasks such as actioning releases and loading rooming lists for multiple properties
      • Utilising your strong relationship and administrative skills, you will collaborate with other departments to build and maintain partnerships with our existing and potential clients to drive results

      Qualifications

      The ideal candidate is highly organised and possesses exceptional time management and communication skills. You will be responsible for delivering consistently accurate and high-quality service for our clients – every interaction, every day.

      • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
      • The ability to manage time and multi-task
      • An outcome-driven approach to performance and results
      • A natural ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships
      • Possess strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workflow and workload individually and across the team

      • Prior experience working with Opera Cloud and RESAweb is advantageous
