      HANBURY MANOR MARRIOTT HOTEL AND COUNTRY CLUB

      A Jacobean-style manor house set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside in Ware, Hertfordshire.       JOB SUMMARY

      The position is offered as a maternity cover on a fixed term basis starting December 2023

      This position is a key member of the Property Executive Team and functions as the sales leader within the cluster (Park Lane & Hanbury Manor). This role provides strategic direction and commercial vision within the executive team and aligns participating hotel sales teams accordingly.

      The Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing develops and drives key sales initiatives and ensures cluster-wide implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategy and programs for hotels in the designated cluster and is directly responsible for the sales performance of those hotels.

      The Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing provides leadership to the sales & events associates within the cluster holding the team accountable to achieve hotel targets and assigned revenue goals through optimum account management, conversion and new business generation. The Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing demonstrates a strong understanding of mix management and associated strategies.

      This leader works in partnership with the Field Sales Team and the other cluster discipline leaders to achieve common goals and develops and manages all stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, taking a leading role in all owner relationships.

      The Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing takes an active role in talent development and succession planning ensuring optimal organisational effectiveness.

      SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

      Education or Certification

      • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management preferred

      Experience

      • At least 3 years’ experience; on property or above property sales experience – preferably in the UK Market
      • Luxury experience preferred
