      In this position...

      The Multicultural Audience Marketing Communication Manager will lead the development of strategy and marketing activities for Hispanic, African American/Black, and Female consumers. You will leverage consumer and cultural insights to guide the growth of Ford relevance with these consumers and drive sales adoption. To serve in this, you will oversee two dedicated agency teams, and as the champion of these consumers, your audience and cultural insights will also influence the work of colleagues across the Ford brand at both National and Local/Dealer levels.

      What you'll do...

      The Multicultural Audience Marketing Communication Manager leads the following:

      • Working with the Head of Brand Content to lead content development across channels for each focus audience (Paid, Owned, Earned)
      • Managing marketing coordination across national, regional, and local working w/our dealer marketing lead as well as dealer groups (and key contact for our Minority Dealer Association)
      • Serves as the Voice of the Customer for Hispanic, African American/Black, and Female audiences and cultural insights
      • Develops go-to-market strategies to grow relevance and sales to these audiences
      • Leads multicultural agency teams at Zubi and UniWorld Group in the execution of these strategies
      • Collaborates with Media manager by development of content to support dedicated multicultural media buys
      • Brings cultural insights forward to aid other marketing colleagues across Ford Brand, Ford Blue, Retail and Experiential
      • Guides agency performance and assessment
      • Acts as key interface to internal services/areas of excellence including, Employee Resource Groups, FordCredit, Ford Fund, DEI team, Media Communications.

      • The Multicultural Audience Marketing Communication Manager role provides a highly visible opportunity to network across all aspects of Ford U.S. Sales and Marketing, including Brand/Consumer Marketing, Services Marketing, Field Operations, CKS, GDIA and OGC as well as regularly interact with Executive Leadership and key Dealer committees.
      • Act as the subject matter expert to help provide opportunities to influence the outcome of projects and strategies outside of direct responsibility.
      • Gain a deep understanding of Ford’s U.S. business, brand health and strategy.
      • Ground floor innovator to rethink Ford’s approach towards multicultural marketing and communications, services, and experiences.
      • Learn about Ford’s dealer network and help guide their efforts in multicultural marketing.

      You'll have...

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
      • 5+ years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, PR/Communications
      • Travel to Detroit and NY to attend marketing activities is required (less than 15%)
      • Experience in multicultural marketing & demonstration of cultural fluency with Hispanic, AA/Black, and Female audiences
      • Experience leading agency teams and/or collaborating with agency teams
      • Self-starter with ability to guide projects with limited supervision and providing project updates along the way.
      • Excellent communications skills with ability and comfort presenting to Executive Leadership

      Even better, you may have...

      • Fluency in Spanish – reading, writing, and speaking strongly preferred
      • Previous experience as a member of ERG/BRG highly desired
