Job Description

- Design and create engaging multimedia assets and digital learning objects/activities to enhance student learning, such as motion graphics, animations, video, audio or gamified activities.
- Collaborate with team members across disciplines and with varying levels of expertise to develop multimedia solutions that align with pedagogical best practices.
- Use your creative talents to design visually appealing graphics, animations, and learning activities that are user-friendly, inclusive, and meet accessibility requirements.
- Explore and implement emerging multimedia technologies and tools to improve the quality of educational content.
- Manage multiple deliverables and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality multimedia assets.
- Communicate effectively with team members and with cross-functional teams.
- Stay current with changing trends and advancements in multimedia design and educational technology.
- Certification in multimedia design, digital design, graphic design, or related field, with specialization in educational technology. A Bachelors degree in any of the above is considered an asset.
- Proven experience in higher education developing multimedia assets and digital learning objects for online courses.
- Expert technical skills with Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Vyond, Microsoft Office, and Articulate 360 or other elearning authoring tools.
- A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity. Examples showcasing educational experiences an asset.
- Experience with Human Centered Design.
- Implementation of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Highly developed abilities in the areas of project management, collaborative work, interpersonal communication, time management, and effective teamwork.

- Big ideas and creativity to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Job Description
MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER
RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC INNOVATION
NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference working as a Multimedia Designer with our Curriculum Development, Digital Education & Faculty Development, and Academic Strategy & Integration teams. The successful candidate will embody our intentional values of being dependable, boldly curious and intentionally courageous, while displaying creativity, energy and passion in developing high-quality multimedia resources to support and enhance learning for multiple projects and types of learners.
As a member of the Curriculum Development team, you will also support Digital Education & Faculty Development, and Academic Strategy and Integration teams with media asset development. Collaborating with multiple team members including instructional designers, faculty members, managers and subject matter experts, you will create meaningful and captivating multimedia resources and learning assets that support learner engagement and teaching excellence. This is a full-time, permanent position.

SALARY: $48,403 - $62,910 annually reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
