  Multimedia Designer (Visual Designer)

  Quadient Canada is currently seeking a creative and dynamic Multimedia Designer (Visual Designer) to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving various design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all multimedia content aligns with our brand's vision and objectives.   Responsibilities:

  • Participating in weekly team meetings and daily standups

  • Participating in various design projects from concept to completion.

  • Create compelling video content, animations, and video templates using editing and graphical software.

  • Produce high-quality videos and graphics that align with brand guidelines and messaging.

  • Conceptualize and storyboard ideas for videos, ensuring alignment with project goals.

  • Utilize visual effects, motion graphics, create graphics, imagery and other techniques to enhance video and creative content.

  • Ensure timely delivery of video and graphical projects while maintaining high standards of quality.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques, and emerging technologies.

  • Manage and organize video and graphical assets, maintaining an efficient workflow for future projects.

  • Collaborate with other team members to support cross-functional projects and initiatives.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Utilize project management tools such as Asana to organize workflow, track project progress, and collaborate effectively with team members.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, Communications, or related field is a plus Proven experience as a video editor, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.

  • Proficiency in video and graphical editing software such as Adobe Suite, Adobe After Effects Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.

  • Experience using Canva or similar online design platforms for video creation is a plus.

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana for organizing workflow and collaborating with team members.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and design.

  • Ability to work independently and to be a good team player, manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and producing engaging video content.

  • Portfolio showcasing previous video editing work, including examples of animations and video templates.
