      What we want

      The Multimedia Production Specialist I, under general supervision, supports development of multimedia and dynamic media projects. Provides video production services and media project support.

      What you need to know

      Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience

      Other Factors: Employee will supervise student workers. Travel required with assigned sport. Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekend and holidays) as required to complete assigned duties.

      Required Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience

      • No prior experience required

      Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Videography Standards

      • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

      • Ability to conceptually understand instructional needs and translate them in multimedia designs

      • Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition

      • Understanding of Asset Management Systems

      • Knowledge of Daktronics System Interfaces

      • A Creative Eye & Technical Knowledge of Cinematic Cameras

      Responsibilities:

      • Digital Creative Content - Creates and oversees all creative video content that is produced for their assigned teams. Works alongside other external departments to facilitate demands and storyboard ideas for content execution on their teams’ social media channels and other digital platforms.

      • Video Board Creative Content - Plans, creates and oversees video board content for their assigned team’s live home events. Works alongside Texas A&M Ventures and our marketing department to implement sponsorship moments with-in the run of show. Works with similar areas to push engagement with The 12th Man and create a unique home field advantage that strives to be the best in college athletics.

      • Team Recruiting Creative Content - Coordinates with assigned teams’ staff to develop a creative content strategy that best supports our team and its student athletes.

      • Creative for Special Projects - Completes various creative projects that are outside the scope of specific team content for the betterment of the athletic department as a whole.

      • Managing & Developing Student Staff - Supervises a crew of students for each sport to help execute creative plan. The staff member will be asked to manage & cultivate growth from their student resources. 12th Man Productions employs a staff of over 80 students and are known for producing quality graduates into the field. It is one of our department’s goals to continue this tradition. Performs other duties as assigned.
