      Multimedia Specialist

      Nebraska Medicine is looking for a Multimedia Specialist with a passion for storytelling through photo and video. In this role, you’ll capture heartwarming and difficult patient stories, work with colleagues to break down complex topics into digestible piece of visual information and overall collaborate with the team to create compelling multimedia executions that tell the Nebraska Medicine story. The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for leading the production of high-quality video, photo and other multimedia content.

      The Multimedia Specialist will lead the development and production of high-quality video, photo and other multimedia content. The Multimedia Specialist will manage projects from start to finish to ensure alignment with Nebraska Medicine’s mission and to help achieve organizational goals.

      Required Qualifications: Multimedia Specialist

      • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, mass media production of electronic media or equivalent education/experience combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
      • Minimum 3 years of experience as videographer or photographer required.
      • Strong video and photo portfolio required.
      • Experience using mirrorless, DSLR, and GoPro Cameras required.
      • Experience capturing and editing audio using a wide variety of methods required.
      • Experience using videography, photography and motion graphics software like Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects required.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead the staging and composition of video and photo shoots required.

      Preferred Qualifications: Multimedia Specialist

      • Previous experience in health care preferred.
      • Exceptional communication and presentation skills preferred.
