Position Title: Museums and Galleries Student Asst - Art Gallery (Student Position) Location: Big Rapids, MI Department: Art Gallery
Advertised Salary: $12.48- $13.24 Summary of Position: Student workers will assist in all duties relating to the installation and striking of exhibitions using proper art handling methods and Best Practices. Position Requirements: - Applicants should possess basic computer and office skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- good written and oral communication skills
- Be able to lift and carry verity of items to set up the galleryEssential Duties/Responsibilities: - Interact positively and be able to discuss the art on display with a diverse demographic of visitors to the gallery including artists, students, staff, faculty, administration, and community members both youth and adult.
- Assist in maintaining attendance records
