The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as "the heart and soul" of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907. Since 1928, when the doors to Memorial Union opened, the Wisconsin Union has served as the living room of the UW-Madison campus. The Union connects students, faculty, staff, members and visitors through shared cultural, social and recreational events and experiences.

The Wisconsin Union Directorate (WUD) Music Committee presents high quality, diverse, and free programming to promote artistic interaction and inclusivity at The University of Wisconsin-Madison. We aim to entertain, enlighten, and strengthen the community through music and live performance.

Some Thursdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays (May 24 - Sept 2).

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Music Coordinator will provide coverage and oversight of the summer music program including a rotating mix of Thursday-Saturday evening shows.
• This committee plans music and entertainment programs to provide an atmosphere for social gathering among all members of the University community at both Memorial Union and Union South.
• Programs are usually entertaining and/or participatory in nature.
• The University represents people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, therefore the Union strives to present entertainment that meets the diversity of the campus community.
