      Currently, we operate multiple elementary and middle schools in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan, and are opening three new elementary schools in Queens for the 2025-26 school year.       To achieve our vision, we are searching for a talented Music Manager with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and at least 3+ years of music instructional management and/or curriculum development experience.

      Responsibilities:

      • Codify string program roles, responsibilities, events to ensure that we are able to build and maintain all processes for future strings growth
      • Establish partnerships with Juilliard and other world-class music schools to provide external opportunities for string students to grow
      • Interview and hire instrumental teachers and substitute instrumental teachers for the program
      • Approve strings consultants' hours and process invoices monthly
      • Check in with strings consultants monthly to monitor students' progress and discuss upcoming events
      • Plan performances/events (studio recitals, master classes, etc.) and attend them
      • Create communication to families regarding events and expectations of participation in strings
      • Oversee lesson scheduling, including during school hours so as not to impact student academic learning
      • Work with music faculty to define and develop scope and sequence of the K-12 music program
      • Contact instrument vendors to place orders and maintain inventory of instruments
      • Collaborate on events, performances, and professional learning opportunities
      • Research potential music and arts education programs to partner with Zeta’s current music program

      We are hiring for an immediate opening. The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $90,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales. This position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary, merit-based performance bonus.
