      Company Description

      Raps Auto Parts is a locally owned and operated group of Napa Auto Parts Stores.
      We are seeking an experienced salesperson for our Rhode Island market. The individual must be self-motivated organized and comfortable making cold calls. Candidate would be servicing our professional repair shops, body shops, and industrial customers. Excellent opportunity for growth and earnings with our aggressive bonus program.

      Job Description

      Drive growth of independently-owned NAPA Auto Parts stores, customer base, sales and profits

      · Promote the entire line of NAPA products and programs to Wholesale Customers

      · Work with local Store Manager to develop plans to increase sales and proactively initiate, contact, manage and develop leads on a local basis

      · Identify specific needs of customers and align solutions with NAPA's offerings.

      · Work with manufacturer's representatives to improve program offerings and grow customer knowledge of lines

      · Engage customers and keep them connected through all of NAPA's eSales programs

      · Maintain customer satisfaction and provide strong customer service including solving customer problems, complaints and questions in person or by telephone

      Qualifications

      · High sense of urgency and be customer service oriented. Experience with building and developing strong customer relationships. Excellent listener. Empathetic to individuals concerns and direct necessary follow-up actions.

      · Be a team player. We want teammates with a proactive, never-fail-attitude in the face of adversity, ambiguous situations and a lack of managerial oversight. You should have the ability to work and motivate yourself independently while also working with teammates for the greater good of the team and Company.

      · Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage many different sales activities simultaneously.

      · Excellent organizational and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize and demonstrate initiative.

      · Tenacity: Staying with a position or plan of action until the desired objective is achieved or is no longer reasonably attainable.

      · Strong written, oral, and facilitation skills.

      · Excellent presentation skills - ability to effectively deliver sales presentations to varied audiences.

      · Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.

      · Set expectations, meet commitments, track results, and manage accountability.

      Additional Information

      · 5 years of outside Sales experience

      · Background in the Automotive Industry

      · Capable of lifting and moving items of up to 60 pounds.

      • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
      • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
      • Required to operate a vehicles for extended periods of time.
