JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the National Accounts Manager is to maintain and further develop the established relationships of our Distributor/Chain partners while soliciting orders for company products by performing the following duties. Develops and implements national sales strategies for increasing sales and profits through national customers. Calls on national and strategic accounts, develops and coordinates sales presentations, and ensures adequate sales service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Responsible for conducting regular business reviews both at Corporate and Key Customer sites.
Ensure Beretta U.S.A. Senior Executives are actively engaged at Top Customers.
Communication of Strategic Customer Plans/Objectives with Regional Teams.
Coordinate all Beretta U.S.A. resources for the benefit of the customer through customer service, planning, forecasting and marketing.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
Keeps a 12-month rolling calendar of events, training, advertising and promotions.
Train sales associates at the store or distributor level and corporate training events.
To call on the Key Accounts designated to he/she.
To cultivate the growth and partnership between Beretta and the customer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Create ads and flyers for the key accounts.
Work closely with the Demand Planning and Marketing Managers to insure we have ample product for the future deliveries.
Display or demonstrate products, using samples or catalog, and emphasize sellable features.
Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Estimate date of delivery to customers, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts current.
Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
Tracks stock level.
Coordinates customer training.
Ability to work well independently with minimum supervision.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Investigates and resolves customer problems according to company policy.
Follows through to ensure that problems are satisfactorily resolved.
Suggests new procedures on programs to prevent customer’s problems/complaints.
Attendance of industry trade shows.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist in the operations of the Director of Sales and when necessary, the VP of Sales & Marketing and departmental functions.
Implement other projects as requested by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS\PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Travel required. Ability to travel by plane required.
Must regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, for extended periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge of product preferred, including firearms, clothing, accessories and pro shop.
Problem solving skills
Excellent written skills: writes clearly and informatively.
Excellent oral communication skills: speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and apply concepts of basic algebra.
Basic computer skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Internet.
Ability to travel by car or plane, minimum 1-2 weeks out of the month, throughout the designated territory. Must also travel to attend trade shows and customer shows.
EXPERIENCE\EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, or 3+ years related experience and/or training required.
Experience in shooting sports industry a plus.
Firearm knowledge/experience a plus.
