      Responsibilities:

      • Contribute to the development and delivery of impactful MITRE work on one or more projects through presentations, briefings, technical research, and written deliverables
      • Support the development of a variety of analytical models to sponsor challenges
      • Contribute to approaches and strategies to modernize intelligence analysis and support
      • Work with teams to produce concrete short-term tangible outputs that make progress towards larger, impactful outcomes

      Required Qualifications:

      • Degree in progress in political science, foreign affairs, public policy, intelligence strategy, intelligence analysis, data science, computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
      • Demonstrated interest in relevant topics: the intelligence cycle, open-source (OSINT) research, Department of Defense operations, the organizations of the intelligence community and their roles
      • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Significant academic background in a field such as Political Science, International Relations, or Public Policy, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or Statistics
      • Demonstrated technical skills as applied to intelligence requirements with a strong knowledge of the intelligence community and intelligence processes
      • Working knowledge or proficiency in a foreign language
      • Experience with data analysis languages and programs such as Python, Tableau, Rapid Miner, Excel, etc.
      • Demonstrated ability to manipulate large datasets and perform calculations with modern programming languages like Python, C++, R, or Java
      • Prior experience working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4j)
      • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level security clearance, including polygraph
