What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead on-site implementation of complex automation systems for laboratory diagnostics
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electro/mechanical equipment and networked computer systems
- Provide technical support and training to field service engineers both on-site and remotely
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution of implementation processes
- Mentor and transfer technical knowledge to internal and external customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in complex electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Willingness to travel domestically at least 80% of the time, often on short notice
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and troubleshooting network/LIS communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control and regulatory requirements
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles with strong facilitation skills
