      Our opportunity

      As a National Retail Design & Delivery Manager you lead the Retail Design and Tenancy Delivery teams and collaborate across Mirvac to increase cash flow by reducing the time from the agreed deal to store opening, ensuring all necessary approvals and Mirvac Tenancy delivery process is followed and documented.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      Provide competitive advantage through optimising asset performance, managing risk and reducing Provide leadership and operational support to the Retail Design and Tenancy Coordination team to ensure that they are clear on requirements and working effectively to achieve business and personal KPIs.

      Lead the team in meeting the Strategic Asset Plans plan objectives, and work with the team to ensure that all tenants meet the design and fit-out requirements

      Liaise with the Asset teams to ensure that all costs for work to be completed by Mirvac are accurate prior to recommendation to approve the deal.

      Provide timely reporting internally, and quick response to internal requests for information.

      Be accountable for the ongoing maintenance and communication of standards and requirements to asset teams and tenants

      Successfully manage the retail design and delivery process across the retail portfolio

      Ensure the Retail Design and Tenancy Delivery Team work with the broader Asset teams on all Tenancy Design and Fit-out works including adjustments to services, programs, delivery times, centre expectations and rules, design expectations and contractor information

      Support leasing in negotiating the appropriate design fitouts that are in keeping with the Design Strategy for each Centre.

      Provide assistance and review of work briefs and budget costs for capital expenditure approvals that have been compiled by the Tenancy Co-ordination team.

      Manage the Retail Design and Delivery team to ensure they inspect tenant fit-outs, alter plans and works to ensure that minimal inconvenience is caused to other tenants or the public.

      Ensure all design and fitout work complies with statutory, council, site requirements, as well as safety of all building occupants.

      Take responsibility and ownership of the Design Standards and Tenancy Coordination procedures and regularly update and review to improve performance and reduce risk.

      Be fully aware of all statuary requirements on HS&E and report incidents in accordance with the HSE scorecard requirements

      Your point of difference

      To be successful you will have extensive years’ experience in retail design and tenancy delivery within a Shopping Centre environment, tertiary qualifications (property management preferable) and property industry expertise.

      Finally, you will have strong leadership, communication and motivation skills, analytical and financial capabilities and IT proficiency particularly in database management and excel.
