What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, develop, and close new business for companies in industries that require travel
- Achieve annual sales production targets and maximize account revenue potential
- Utilize CRM software to track and record sales pipeline and revenue projections
- Operate within customer management parameters and provide necessary input for change
- Comply with all management requests in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College degree with a focus on business, marketing, or communication
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a sales strategy and meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to sell and close business via phone at decision maker or C-level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years in direct sales
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term account relationships
- Experience in hotel sales, travel agencies, and/or extended stay travelers
- Creative thinker to overcome customer rejections
- Ability to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions
