      The Role

      Brand Manager - National Therapy Advisor (NTA) is a customer facing, field-based marketing role, reporting into Nordic Brand Lead for Diabetes & Obesity. The role requires close collaboration with wider cross-functional team both in the office and the field.

      The focus is to drive growth and brand performance trough development/localization and implementation of robust programmes and tactics that will lead to remarkable customer experiences. In the NTA role you lead on important marketing programs such as commercial presence at major national/regional meetings, development of educational- and promotional speaker meetings as well as interactions with Thought Leaders and relevant professional associations and advocacy groups.

      Responsibilities

      Customer Influence

      Knowledge & expertise

      • Have a deep understanding of therapy area and products. Including knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors.
      • Works closely with Medical to ensure between the two disciplines we provide the right data to the customers.
      • Recognizes the importance of connecting Thought Leaders with other HCPs to share expertise and is used as a resource to facilitate this interaction.
      • Understands and has a comprehensive working relationship with relevant professional associations and advocacy groups.

      Customer Interaction & Management

      • Recognizes where major opportunities could impact across brand functions and communicates this to the Brand team.
      • Together with brand team ensure a strong thought leader management plan and implementation.
      • Consistently captures relevant and appropriate customer data to add value and inform other functions involved in channel management (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Medical, etc.) to shape future brand strategy more effectively.

      Selling

      • Engages and coach Account Managers routinely, in close collaboration with RBM, to secure effective implementation and follow up of the prioritized programs.
      • Maintains relevance by going on field rides to understand sales professional and HCP experience.

      Planning & Partnerships

      Customer & project management

      • Uses a clear plan for measurement and goals for relevant projects, particularly (e)P2Ps, to follow up and support acceleration. Here includes coaching and discussion with Sales force on status vs plan.
      • Effectively prioritises business opportunities by considering resources available.

      Build & Sustain Partnerships

      • Builds and maintains a strong network and rapport with Brand Thought Leaders, Lilly personnel, and key influencers.
      • Actively seeks and acts on customer feedback and uses where appropriate to shape future partnerships and strategies.
      • Establish partnerships with HCP SOAs for the planning and implementation of high-quality educational and promotional programmes.

      Meeting management

      • Organises commercial presence at major national/regional meetings, our educational- and promotional speaker meetings.
      • Builds meeting programmes based on a deep understanding of the needs of Endocrinologists, GP’s, and nurses, as well as on strong TL collaboration.
      • Develops content in Veeva, select and engage with speakers and manage contracts end-to-end.

      (e)P2P meetings

      • Develops, coordinates, and executes the Diabetes & Obesity (e)P2P strategy both pre- and post-launch, in alignment with the Brand Manager, the brand strategy and the operational plan.
      • Use Lilly tools to track implementation and guide data driven decision making.
      • Responsible for OPEX planning, tracking and management.
      • Establish partnerships with HCP SOAs for the planning and implementation of high-quality programmes
      • Leveraging the pre-meeting and post-meeting opportunities (e.g., BE, advertising through SOA, VAE) in close collaboration with the MCE manager and the Brand Manager.
      • Post meeting event amalgamation & interpretation of evaluation results. Creating feedback loop with brand team for design of future programmes.

      Compliance

      • Lead with, and ensure adherence to, integrity and compliance in all that we do.
      • As a Veeva Brand Coordinator, upload content in Veeva and review key content creation and discontinuation in accordance with the PMAP procedure. Work closely with the medical certifier and incorporate suggested changes.
      • Understand and act upon the affiliate promotional rules of engagement and the critical role of product label. Also, ensure that all programs are 100% compliant to Local Code of Practice and company SOPs.

      Required Skills:

      • Strong project management skills - Ability to execute on a plan and manage multiple deadlines / priorities.
      • Proven experience in marketing or in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, preferably having managed (e)P2P programmes in the past.
      • Results oriented, with a clear sense of urgency.
      • Proven skills in collaborating and getting results through and with others (influence without authority).
      • Solid track record of delivering results and brand performance.
      • Solid experience from external stakeholder management and building networks.
      • A solid compliance mindset demonstrated integrity on the job, and ability to lead others in producing high quality, compliant work.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
      • Minimum 2 years’ experience from sales, key account management, marketing role or medial liaison.

      Additional Skills/Preferences:

      • Experience in diabetes/obesity therapeutic areas
      • Marketing, Medical or Sales experience
      • Trained and with experience of local pharma code.
      • Bachelor or university degree in economics, marketing, bioscience, medicine or similar.
