      Our world-class internship

      Our NatWest Markets internship in Stockholm has been designed to give you a taste of what it’s like to work with us, along with valuable experience to help guide your career choices.

      The internship is intended to start in August 2024 and last for ten months, during which you will work alongside our Debt Capital Markets, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Corporate Coverage teams.

      Over the course of the programme, you can look forward to:

      • Being involved in the day-to-day work within Debt Capital Markets, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Corporate Coverage, as well as projects with colleagues within Structured- and Private Financing, Credit Sales, Money Markets, and FX Sales
      • Developing your skills within financial analysis, pitching, client on-boarding activities
      • Accelerating your client relationship management capabilities
      • Seeing first-hand how we work together to deliver an outstanding service for our customers
      • Attending trainings tailored to those at the start of their career in banking
      • Developing a broad foundation of knowledge in Debt Capital Markets, Fixed Income Derivatives and elements of Corporate Coverage, as well as the basics of other related banking products
      • Collaborating with colleagues globally to support our Nordic Debt & Financing Solutions and Coverage teams

      Entry requirements

      To be eligible for our NatWest Markets internship in Stockholm, you’ll need:

      • To be close to completing a Bachelor’s degree, studying towards a Master’s degree, or on a gap year
      • Fluency in English
      • Business writing skills
      • Quantitative analysis skills
      • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
      • A demonstrable interest in finance and capital markets
      • To be pursuing a client-facing career in finance focusing on capital markets, asset financing or fixed income derivatives
