      Position Overview:
      Through a course of intensive classroom-based training, this UK based role will allow you to work within, and learn from, a busy team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals who are from a combination of law firms, world renowned global immigration consultancies, ex-Government bodies and specific industry backgrounds. This is an exciting chance to develop your career and have the autonomy to manage client and government relationships, working at the forefront of new and developing immigration policies and practices whilst providing first class service.
      Responsibilities:
      • Gain an understanding of the Immigration Rules and Policy, working on a specific, approved OISC L1 Training plan, with a view to completing the qualification within 12 months.
      • By working with senior members of the team, and with ongoing self-study, gain a solid grounding in the core competencies and skill set required to advise and deliver national immigration services to our clients.
      • Learn how to assess the business objectives of our clients and make suitable recommendations to our client’s business needs which may include, business practices, human resource and manpower, latest regulatory requirements and best practices;
      • Draft representations, cover letters, entry clearance and leave to remain applications as required by Consultants.
      • Keep up to date with all the latest Immigration matters through own research and study.
      • Assist with UK immigration casework (with particular focus to Employment, Student, and family migration cases) with direct liaison with the client, building up own case load under close supervision.
      • Monitor progress and follow up on completion. Cases covered will include a range of standard corporate, education and private client applications.
      • Assist Supervisor with volume queries and ensuring quality of advice at all times
      • Monitor application and work load deadlines and complete assigned work within the appropriate time frames
      • Ensure the appropriate client records are established and maintained through our internal case management tool, Immigo. Update Immigo with any actions directly taken as a case proceeds.
      • Prepare compliance packs for corporate and educational clients
      • Ensure all fees and disbursements are invoiced and full payment is received prior to case submission
      • Provide clients with excellent service (in accordance with company or client specific service levels), responding to email and telephone enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring that advice is comprehensive and accurate, whilst under supervision

      • Graduate level degree or equivalent level work experience – D
      • Previous Immigration Advisory experience – D
      • Proven ability to research, identify, analyse and interpret information from a range of sources and develop an appropriate solution – E
