Key responsibilities:
• Plan and ensure adequate resources are in place to effectively manage workload.
• Update and maintain the roster on Sharepoint
• Work in collaboration with the other NCC Supervisors and NCC Expert to ensure whole team is working to best practice.
• Produce and analyse productivity and performance reports, identifying issues, taking action and recommending improvements to Process managers as appropriate.
• Set, measure and review SMART targets and objectives for all staff members as appropriate including performance management where required.
• Carry out 1 to 1s and appraise staff, where necessary discipline staff through high levels of communication skills ensuring a fully competent positive workforce, able to meet their goals in line with the company and departmental objectives.
• Utilise all available and applicable training opportunities to ensure all staff are fully trained to a high standard which allows them to carry out their duties competently, efficiently, and safely.
• Take part in recruitment process to ensure required standard of staffing is met.
• Undertake operational projects as directed by the process managers and lead and promote change within the team.
• Provide data to the Process managers and Senior Process manager, about the NCC KPIs, providing details and justifications when KPIs are not met.
• Facilitate CIS modules to the Process team and others depending on training requirements.
• Facilitate and attend interdepartmental and scorecard meetings to build and maintain relationships with other DHL departments.
• Carry out daily PD Board meeting and regular EOS meetings with the team.
• Plan and ensure all mandatory training is up to date.
• Plan and ensure cross training is up to date and tasks within the team are being rotated fairly to maintain skillset.
• Carry out and log Sit ins and provide motivational and developmental feedback using AID.
• Lead and direct team in unforeseen contingency situations.
• To have a good undertanding of NCC Senior Agent, Air Ops Senior Agent and NCC Agent functions to provide support and cover key aspects when required
• Support with training and upskilling staff
• Support and cover Process managers as required, including cover some duties in their absence
• Ensure NSI scanning is carried out in compliance with GSOP.
• Starting/Continuation or Completion of CIM Supervisory journey.
• Operate using the DHL 21st century leadership attributes and ensure the departments continually improve using first choice methodology.
• Drive the DHL FOCUS strategy and EOS within the team.
• Actively promote Health and Safety by completing and log H&S conversations and near missesH&S
