Job Description
- Req#: JP-005009691
- Perform MT inspections on structural welds in a shop environment.
- Climb, crawl, and perform minor grinding for relevancy checks during the MT inspection process.
- Operate necessary NDT equipment and analyze the resultant information.
- Pass practical examinations for applicable methods.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.
- Maintain current certification documentation including training and experience records, examination results, and vision test records.
- Pass additional vision exams as required.
- Documented qualification/certification to the Level II requirements for ASNT's SNT-TC-1A, 2001 Edition or later.
- Minimum of 4 years of documented current experience as a certified inspector in the applicable inspection method(s).
- Passed written general theory and procedure-specific examinations for the applicable method(s).
- Passed practical examinations demonstrating ability to operate necessary NDT equipment.
- Passed a visual acuity exam using Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches within the last year.

Job Description
We are seeking experienced NDT Level II inspectors with documented qualification/certification to the Level II requirements for ASNT's SNT-TC-1A, 2001 Edition or later. Candidates must have passed written general theory and procedure-specific examinations for the applicable method(s) and practical examinations demonstrating their ability to operate necessary NDT equipment, and record and analyze resultant information. Inspectors must have a minimum of 4 years of documented current experience as a certified inspector in the applicable inspection method(s).
