      REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Instruction/CTAE

      QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree and valid Georgia leadership certification preferred with at least three years leadership experience. Knowledge of current curriculum, testing, special education, and State requirements desired. Access to a personal computer and reliable internetWork Schedule: Maximum of 19 hours/week

      To support the NE Region - Bulloch, Chatham, Liberty, Screven and Long Sites

      Work Schedule: Maximum of 19 hours/week

      JOB GOAL: Provide leadership for developing, achieving, and maintaining the highest quality instructional program. Work with stakeholders to build partnerships that enhance the educational goals of Coastal Plains Charter High School.

      DUTIES:

      1. Provide leadership to ensure understanding and promotion of the educational objectives of Coastal Plains. Plan and administer in-service activities for staff.
      2. Coordinate all formal efforts in curriculum improvement.
      3. Work with site director and teacher committees to coordinate departmental meetings in order to impact horizontal and vertical continuity of the instructional program.
      4. Ensure that curriculum resources are available for staff use. Secure and distribute instructional resources such as media, sample textbooks, and curriculum guides.
      5. Coordinate the selection of textbooks and on-going evaluation of curriculum and instruction for Coastal Plains using faculty committees.
      6. Collaborate with the student services team to implement district initiatives.
      7. Attend Governance Team meetings and prepare reports for the Governance team as needed.
      8. Keep informed of current laws and GADOE rules that apply to schools.
      9. Assist in the development and coordination of the budget that pertain to curriculum and instruction. Maintain accurate financial records.
      10. Identify and coordinate program needs that are eligible to be supported by supplemental programs (i.e.,Title I, ESOL, SWD, REP, CTAE).
      11. Collaborate with the testing director to provide testing review prior to state testing.
      12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
