      Grade UE07 £37,099 to £44,263 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £39,347 to £46,974 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024).

      College of Science & Engineering / School of Geosciences.

      Fixed Term Contract until 30 November 2028.

      Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

      The Opportunity:

      As NERC DTP Project Manager, you will provide proactive administrative and financial support for the current NERC funded E4 DTP working closely with the DTP Director in the School of GeoSciences. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to work closely with students, academic staff and other professionals, building strong relationships with all stakeholders.

      We are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised and able to demonstrate excellent judgement and initiative. You will be working within a busy annual cycle and your ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks will be essential to your success in this role. Our ideal candidate has relevant administrative experience, is comfortable working independently and as part of a team and can demonstrate an excellent track record of delivering work to a high standard.

      The role is based in the Grant Institute, King’s Buildings.

      This post is full-time (35 hours per week).

      • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Proven ability to manage budgets.
      • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
      • Flexible approach to work and willing to learn new things.
      • Competent IT skills particularly with Microsoft Office products.
