      The Network Administrator manages, maintains, and troubleshoots the organization's networks to ensure efficiency, security, and reliability across local, wide-area, and cloud-based systems. Key responsibilities include configuring network hardware and protocols, securing networks with firewalls, resolving issues, optimizing performance, and monitoring network health. They will also maintain connected devices, implement backup and disaster recovery plans, and document configurations while collaborating with IT teams. Additionally, they will propose innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, leveraging existing information and vendor resources to their fullest potential. Expertise in networking protocols, hardware, security principles, and Cisco Meraki monitoring tools is required.

      Responsibilities

      1. Set up and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).2. Implement and manage network protocols (TCP/IP) and address schemes.3. Configure firewalls, configure VMs, implement VPNs, and monitor for security breaches.4. Diagnose and resolve network issues quickly to minimize downtime.5. Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency and speed.6. Use monitoring tools to track network performance, bandwidth usage, and threats.7. Generate reports on network health and suggest improvements.8. Ensure all systems are properly connected and functioning.9. Develop and implement comprehensive network backups and data recovery plans.10. Develop security and disaster recovery policies and procedures.11. Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.12. Manage domain administration, ensuring proper configuration, security, and maintenance.13. Deliver technical reports for network performance to IT teams and management.14. Work with system admins to ensure smooth IT operations.

      Qualifications

      Required Experience: 1. Minimum 7-10 years IT experience including:2. In depth knowledge of routing and VLANs3. In-depth knowledge of Cisco Meraki technology4. Extensive knowledge of Windows server/desktop operating systems and applications5. Hosted cloud server experience6. Experience with Domain name registrars7. Service desk ticketing system experience

      Required Education/Training:

      Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but relevant industry experience may be considered as a substituteCCNA Certification a plus

      Required Skills and Abilities:

      1. Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).2. Network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).3. Network monitoring tools (Cisco Meraki).4. Troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.5. GCP Knowledge6. Stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and identifies optimal ways to apply them to benefit the organization.7. Communicates effectively within the department and with stakeholders regarding operational issues for continuous improvement8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical teams

      Working Conditions: 1. General office environment.2. Normal office noise level, with occasional moderate noise.3. Occasional after-hours or late work may be required.4. Occasional travel may be required.

      Salary Range Information:

      The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
