Job Description
- Req#: JPC - 10183089
- Install, maintain, configure, upgrade, and administer network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Wipe configurations from end-of-life equipment and prepare devices for salvage.
- Manage telecommunication circuit additions, changes, and relocations.
- Diagnose and resolve network/system issues for:
- Department of Public Safety (DPS)
- Automated Title Processing System (ATPS)
- Deputy Registrar (DR) agencies
- Driver License Examination (DX) Stations
- Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center (ONIC)
- Maintain clear and organized documentation for systems and procedures.
- Monitor enterprise security systems; respond appropriately to alarms and alerts per established policies.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve network or application-related user issues within DPS systems.
- Onsite attendance is mandatory at the Shipley Building in Columbus, OH.
- Full interviews will be conducted onsite only.
- This position is ideal for professionals with strong field experience and familiarity with government or public safety infrastructure.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware and telecommunication systems across a diverse state agency infrastructure.
