      Description

      Job Description Summary

      Provide support for the network infrastructure which includes; various computer systems, hardware, networking solutions, servers, central data center, telecommunications, and future recommended solutions.

      Coordinate and implement network implementations and upgrades as assigned by the Network Manager.

      Create and maintain documentation for network infrastructure and related systems.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

      Networking

      • Assists with the administration, maintenance, and installation of all network infrastructure and those core systems that specifically impact the business relative to Internet, telephony, communication, routing, and switching.
      • Makes new solution recommendations to the Network Manager for related hardware and software systems.
      • Maintain network topology diagrams.
      • Monitors system alerts and performs associated remediation efforts as required.
      • Provides on-call support for networking system-related issues.
      • Must comply with all applicable Agua Caliente Casinos System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and all Tribal Regulations.

      Internal Systems

      • Assists with administration, maintenance, and upgrades of Enterprise Data Center.
      • Assists with the 3rd level support for property IT support, system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery.
      • Assists with the design, implementation, and maintenance of operating systems, programs, hardware, and software.

      Asset Management

      • Assists with inventory management of all software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT network assets as required by the business.

      Qualifications


      Education and/or Experience

      • At least three years of experience performing similar duties within the IT function.
      • A current valid Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) Certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
      • Must be familiar with PC hardware and server hardware Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 20xx, Windows 20xx Server), Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Experience with Data Center Technologies preferred.
      • Experience using network monitoring tools.
      • Experience with Visio and diagram design tools.
      • Strong knowledge of Cyber security related policies and procedures.
      • Must have excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and work after normal business hours and on weekends as required.
      • Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information sciences from a four-year college or university, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

      Working Conditions/Physical Demands

      To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.

      Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
