      Cimarron is seeking a Network Operations Center Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

      Key Duties:

      • Provide 24x7x365 network operations support for the MDA Enterprise under the Global Network Operation Support Center (GNOSC).
      • Perform operations and maintenance of the MDA general service network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and configuration management of routers, switches, encryptors, and firewalls.
      • Conduct network and firewall engineering, monitoring, and administration; analyze issues using network monitoring tools and provide troubleshooting support to end users.
      • Generate status reports, analyze network anomalies, and develop engineering red lines to support maintenance actions, upgrades, and security vulnerability remediation.
      • Respond to Remedy Incident Tickets and collaborate with customers to resolve network communication issues.
      • Provide test and event support as needed.

      Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

      • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at the time.
      • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.       • Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
      • 4 or more years of directly related experience in an engineering field.
      • Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
      • Proficiency in developing comprehensive and detailed technical drawings.
      • Ability to follow documented processes and procedures, with a willingness to provide feedback for improvement.
      • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
      • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Quick learner with a positive, can-do attitude.
      • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
      • Experience with networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Multicast, OSPF, BGP routing protocols, and various WAN mediums.
      • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Micro Focus ITOM, and NetScout, as well as basic troubleshooting using command-line access to devices like Cisco routers and switches.
      • Knowledge of the Remedy Action Request System.
      • Understanding of COMSEC, Circuit Actions, and DISA Tech Control procedures.
      • Current DoD 8570 Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or higher).

      Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

      • Cisco CCNA Certification.
      • Experience with Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, McAfee, Wildfire, FireEye IPS/IDS, Citrix NetScaler, Blue Coat Proxy, and SSL Decryptors.
      • Experience with IT Services Configuration Management processes.
      • Experience with Remedy and SNMP monitoring tools, including Micro Focus, HPOV, and SolarWinds.
      • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and ITIL-based processes, including continual service improvement, change management, and problem investigation.
