      Our Lutterworth site are now recruiting for a Network Optimisation Co-ordinator on a full time permanent basis.

      Salary: £35,663 per annum.

      Working hours: Monday to Friday (07:00-15:00/11:00-19:00, rotating).

      Job Description

      The purpose of a Network optimisation Co-ordinator is to optimise the planning route to market, using own fleet, internal sub contraction and external sub-contractors. Planning of multi sites vehicles and drivers, taking into account WTD & EU regulations and compliance legalities.

      Key Duties of a Network Optimisation Co-ordinator:

      • Responsible for the timely & efficient creation of vehicle routes.
      • Allocation of resource to create the ambient transport plan.
      • Responsible for ensuring special delivery instructions, requirements and times are adhered to.
      • Allocating to achieve budget KPIs, whilst still creating achievable routes.
      • Allocating in line with driver’s hours & RTD legislation.
      • Adhering to depot & system processes & controls.
      • Liaison with Transport Coordination teams in the handover and daily management of the network plan.
      • Role dimensions include: Fleet of 15 to 50 vehicles, planning team of up to 8 members, 25 to 90 drivers.

      Qualifications

      • CPC holder, National & International preferred.
      • Knowledge of Transport Planning in a radial & direct delivery environment including depot trunk movements.
      • Knowledge of the application & benefits delivery of transport systems.
      • National network experience & able to see the bigger picture & network view.
      • Ability to deputise for the Network Optimisation Manager.
      • Team player who can develop internal & external relationships.
      • Experience of planning within a cost/ KPI driven operational environment.
      • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and to prioritise workloads to meet set deadlines.
